Spyware is an advertising parasite, which enables the retrieval of information from your computer without your consent. Normally it is associated with freeware downloaded from the net.
When the downloaded app is installed you are not aware that the Spyware script has also been installed into your system. Spyware can run with or without the host (freeware) application. Sending data related to you back to the company servers.
The purpose of such scripts are to send user data sufficient for the building of user profile statistics which the company uses itself, Or they sell the data to third parties interested in target advertising.
Once it has been installed it will NOT be removed when the application is deleted.
